Pepinos Café
A nice coffee recipe that “smells” like Mexico:
2 tbsps. (1 oz) Tequila
½-1½ tbsps. (¼-¾ oz.) Kahlúa
1 tsp. Brown Sugar
1 cup Strong Coffee
Whipped Cream
The preparation is quite simple: heat tequila and Kahlúa in a heat-resistant glass, stir in sugar, fill with coffee. Stir again, top with whipped cream, and serve!
Hot Marie
We had a nice recipe called Black Marie, but there is a delicious Hot Marie, as follows:
1½ tbsps. (¾ oz.) Dark Rum
1½ tbsps. (¾ oz.) Brandy
½ tbsp. (¼ oz.) Tia Maria

Cuban Hot Coffee
A delicious recipe with gold rum, brown crème de cacao, sugar and coffee.
½ tbsp. (¼ oz.) Crème de Cacao, brown
2 tbsps. (1 oz.) Gold Rum
1 tsp. Sugar
1 cup Hot Coffee
Heat liqueurs in a heat-resistant glass, add sugar. Fill with coffee and stir. Optional, top with whipped cream.
Black Jack
1½ tbsps. (¾ oz.) Kirschwasser
1½ tbsps. (¾ oz.) Brandy
1 cup Cold Coffee
Sugar (if desired)
Combine the ingredients and stir over ice cubes in a small highball glass.
Kirschwasser is a cherry-flavored liqueur made from the distillation of cherries.
Black Marie
A little different than Black Maria recipe:
½ tbsp. (¼ oz.) Tia Maria
1½ tbsps. (¾ oz.) Dark Rum
1½ tbsps. (¾ oz.) Brandy
1 cup Cold Coffee
1 barspoon Brown Sugar
Shake well all the ingredients over crushed ice on a shaker, strain into a large highball (or old-fashioned) glass and serve.
Black Maria
1½ tbsps. (¾ oz.) Tia Maria
2 tbsps. (1 oz.) Dark Rum
1 barspoon Sugar
1 cup Cold Coffee
Lemon peel
Combine all the ingredients and stir over ice cubes, in a small highball (old-fashioned) glass. Twist the lemon peel and drop into the glass. That’s all, and you have a Black Maria for your Eight O’Clock Coffee!

Black Magic
A nice cup of Black Magic will warm you up, for sure. Get
½ tbsp. (¼ oz.) Kahlúa
2 tbsps. (1 oz.) Vodka
1 cup Cold Coffee
Dashes of Lemon Juice
Mix all the ingredients and stir over ice cubes, in a small highball (or old-fashioned) glass.
Café Caen
Ingredients for Café Caen are:
½ – 1½ tbsps. (¼ – ¾ oz.) Grand Marnier
2 tbsps. (1 oz.) Calvados
1 cup Hot Coffee
Lightly Whipped Cream
Sugar Cubes
Heat liqueurs in a heat-resistant glass, pour in coffee, stir, top with whipped cream, and add sugar cube. Not complicated, but delicious for your Eight O’Clock Coffee!

45 ml. (1 ½ oz.) Gold Rum
Lemon peel
Sugar
Pour rum over a small highball glass, fill with coffee, and stir. Twist lemon peel over drinl and drop into the glass, then add sugar and serve!
